Keying and Roto

I had to pull simple mattes and rotos to hide some part of the particles behing and in front of the caracter and différent objects in the scene.

Particle System

I had to simulate a different particle system for everyshot that needed snow since the camera was constatly changing from shot to shot.

Since the motion was mostly consistant, I create a general simulation but with time remaping and change of angle of the lens, it was impossible for me to use a single simulation.

All the simple simulations where done in nuke using the Snowbox Gizmo.

Compositing


Because of production, I had to make the effet of the final graded image. I was then able to change multiple aspect of transparency and kept all the particles in the alpha channel so if they needed to grade it again, they could only use the particles as a different asset.
